Wire Mesh Industries employs the very latest in welded mesh production machinery and operates at the leading edge of technology in the welded mesh field. The welded mesh manufacturing facility has been purpose built to ensure the most efficient, effective and economical production methods are adhered to and therefore the best possible combination of price, service and delivery is available to our customers.

Panel widths run to 2,400 mm and panel lengths to 6,000 mm and a range of materials are used in the manufacture of welded mesh including bright steel, galvanised and stainless steel wire. Welded mesh is made in wire diameters from 3.15 mm to 8 mm and production runs range from several panels only into the tens of thousands.

Our state of the art equipment is fully computer controlled from first weld to the stacking and turning of completed mesh sheets in neat bundles for transport collection. A full quality control programme combined with the very best in testing and proving equipment means that Wire Mesh Industries' welded mesh panels rank as some of the most flat, accurate and precisely controlled welded mesh panels in Australia.

Some of the innovations achieved by the business over the past several years include the introduction of locally manufactured 358 welded mesh (also know as prison mesh) as used in high security applications, the manufacture of reinforcement size and type welded mesh panels in stainless steel in wire diameters up to 8 mm, the manufacture of welded mesh panels on a side by side basis to double production speeds for larger runs at 1,200 mm wide or narrower and the manufacture of panels with infinitely variable wire spacing in each direction – a feature few other welded mesh businesses can match.
